LUFKIN, Texas — Doug and Patty Spurlock of Livingston, Texas, and Daniel and Sherry Peterson of Hawkins, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter,
Sandi Lynn Spurlock to
Scott Doughty Walsh, son of David and Kathy Walsh of Blaine, Maine.
Sandi is a 2000 graduate of Lisbon Falls High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta with a degree in registered nursing. Sandi is the granddaughter of Darla Kramer of Paris, Texas. Scott is a 2001 graduate of Central Aroostook High School in Mars Hill, Maine, and a 2003 respiratory therapy graduate of Southern Maine Technical College in South Portland. Scott is grandson of the late Wendell and Lorraine Doughty of Fort Fairfield, Maine, and Joan and the late Verlane Walsh of Mars Hill. Scott, a respiratory therapist, and Sandi, an emergency room registered nurse, are employed at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center in The Woodlands, Texas. Before moving to Texas last August, Scott and Sandi lived in Topsham, and both worked at Parkview Adventist Medical Center in Brunswick.
An Oct. 15, 2011, wedding is planned in Lufkin, Texas.
