Gayle Elizabeth Amato of West Hartford and William Respess Kenefick of Simsbury were married Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, West Hartford. The Rev. Donald Crosby and the Rev. Richard C. Brown officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gaetano Amato of West Hartford. The bridegroom is the son of Carol Brown of Warwick, R.I., and William Kenefick of Wilson. Susan Amato -was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Kimberly Amato, Sara Amato and Cathleen Kenefick. Kent Pierce was best man and’ ushers were Ken Stone, James Reilly and Peter Brown. The couple left for Hawaii after a reception at the Hilltop House on Sunset Ridge, East Hartford. They will live in Simsbury. The bride is a customer consultant for Distributor Information Systems Corp., Bloomfield. The bridegroom is a ship’s officer for Exxon Co., U.S.A., Houston, Texas
