      Susan Gordon, 47 Taught in Groton school
      A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First Parish Church Unitarian in Groton for Susan (Skinner) Gordon, a former preschool and art teacher at the Groton Community School.
       Mrs. Gordon died of breast cancer last Tuesday at the Nashoba Community Hospital, Ayer. She was 47 and lived in Groton. Born in Boston, she graduated from the Cambridge School of Weston in 1962 and Framingham State College in 1966. Mrs. Gordon had taught in Groton since 1979. She also served as an art adviser to the Learning Experience in Acton, a project of the Groton preschool, and taught children’s art classes at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln in 1988-90.
       She leaves her husband, Charles D.; three sons, Bela P.K. of Groton, Charles E. of Montpelier, Vt., and James H. of Alstead, N.H.; her mother, Jeanne (Fisher) Skinner of Groton; her twin brother, Richard G. Skinner of Onset; and a sister, Judith Bruggemann of Rochester Hills, Mich.
