       William Morrison Varrell, 66, 127 Cass St., died at his home this morning following a long illness.
       A native and lifelong resident of Portsmouth, he was born on Dec. 26, 1894, the son of Josiah M. and Estelle (De Navarro) Varrell. He was a member of St John’s lodge. F & AM, and attented the North Congregational Church. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Jennie (Akerly) Varrell, a son, William M. Varrell Jr. of Portsmouth; three grandchildren; a brother, Merton W. Varrell of Eliot, and a sister, Mrs. Evis Noble of Portsmouth.
