    5. [S4] Obituary.
      Floyd E. Small, 78, 145 Hill Avenue, Knightstown, died Wednesday morning at the Henry County Hopital, after a one-year illness. Mr. Small was born in Raysville October 7, 1896, the son of J. Lee and Myrta Holland Small. He was a member of the Knightstown Friends Church; a 50-year member of the American Legion of that town. He was retired in 1966, as a rural letter carrier after 49 years, and served as a president of( the Retired Mail Carriers Association. He farmed 26 years in Rush County.
       Surviving is a son, William, Lapeer, Michigan, a grandson, Douglas Small, also Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.
       Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Butcher Funeral Home in Knightstown, with Rev, Keith Mardock in charge. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday
