      Ruth H. Welker, 77, of St. Charles, died Thursday (Sept. 14, 2000) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. Welker was a kitchen supervisor from Emmaus Home in St. Charles, where she had worked for 30 years. A funeral service was held Monday at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles. Burial was at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
       Among survivors are three sons, Norman Welker of Greensboro, N.C., Paul Welker and Daniel Welker, both of St. Charles; a daughter, Pat McKeon of St. Charles; two sisters, Grace McMenamy of Sunny Vale, Calif., and Martha Garrison of Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren and nine …
