Gerald Hawes, 74, of Burney died Tuesday, April 2, 1991, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. No services will be conducted.
Born April 20, 1916, in Maynard, Mass., he moved to Shasta County in 1981 from Sonoma. He was a hospital engineer at Sonoma Valley Hospital and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Burney Lodge 1988. He was in the Merchant Marine during World War II.
He is survived by wife Donna; and son Bill of Burney.
