    1. [S4] Obituary.
      Earl Ronald Rowan, Pablo, died Saturday at his home. Final rites will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Retz Chanel with the Rev. J. T. Smith officiating. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows will have graveside rites at Lakeview Cemetery.
       Rowan was born Nov. 8, 1882, at De Soto, Kan., and had been a store operator in Pablo since his retirement from the position of afent in the Northern Pacific Rail way’s Rocky Mountain Division. His widow, Dada M., whom he married in East Saint Louis, 111., in 1906, survives. Thev had lived in Pablo 32 years. Other survivors are a daughter, Leah Rice of Menlow Park, Calif.; two sons, Ronald of North Bend, Ore., and Carl of Butte, and seven grandchildren.
