      Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in the Creighton Chapel for Mrs. Selma Peterson who died Friday at North Acres Manor after a long illness Rev. George Steffens officiated and burial was in the Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera. Mrs. Peterson was born in Sweden. She came to Kingsburg in 1913 and was married to Joseph A. Peterson in 1915. They lived in Madera until 1943 when they moved to Burlingame, and returned to Kingsburg in 1971. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband of Kingsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Nicol of San Mateo and Mrs. Margaret Benton of San Jose; a son, Bertil J. Peterson of Fresno; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
