      FOSHAY, Judith Gail – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, Judith Gail Foshay on September 9, 2014, at the young age of 66 years old. Born in Wolfville on June 22, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Laura Shirley (Fairn) Foshay and Avard Woodman Foshay.
       She was the second of six siblings. She lived and attended school in Liverpool, and later, Halifax. She attended the Nova Scotia Technical College, receiving her Business Certificate then moved to California shortly thereafter to live and work until her retirement. Judy finished her career in California as the Director of Shareholder Services with Cirrus Logic in Silicon Valley before returning to Nova Scotia and settling in New Minas. She lived a private life in her later years. Her favourite hobbies were cooking and gardening.
       She is survived by her siblings, Gary M. Foshay, Halifax; R. Toby Foshay, Edmonton, Alta.; Fairn O. Foshay, San Jose, Calif.; Laird G. Foshay, Paso Robles, Calif.; Stephanie E. (Foshay) Atkinson, Halifax; nieces, Holland, San Jose, Calif.; Angeline, Paso Robles, Calif.; nephews, Colin and Garrett, San Jose, Calif.; Sam and Jackson, Paso Robles, Calif.; Aaron and Cole, Halifax; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Noah) Foshay, Paso Robles; Vicky (Rafferty) Foshay, San Jose; Mary Steckle, Halifax; uncles, aunts and cousins both in Canada and United States.
       here will be a private service for family members only at a later date. Her ashes will be placed in one of her favourite places. May she rest with peace and tranquility
