      Bertha Row Emmert, 99, of Dallas Center died of heart failure on Jan. 15 at Spurgeon Manor Care Center in Dallas Center. A resident of Dallas Center for eight years, she had lived in Des Moines for the 63 years prior. She was a homemaker and a member of the Stover Memorial Church of the Brethren. Survivors include one son, Dale Emmert of Minburn; one daughter, Cora Sprecht of Westfield, NJ; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
