Miss Mabel Wassom died December 7 at the age of 82. Funeral services were December 9 at the Homestead Methodist Church with burial at Spring City cemetery.
Miss Wassom suffered a stroke July 5 and had been unable to walk since. A heart attack caused her death.
She had made her home with her nephew, Earl McCuistion for the last fifteen years.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs F A McCuistion, Rockwood; Mrs Virginia Broyles, Atlanta, Ga; one brother, C M Wassom, Spring City.
