      Middleton - Louis Emerson Wotton, 74, died at home at Wilmot Sunday. Funeral service was at Middleton Baptist Church, Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Milton Munn. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. Wotton was born in Brooklyn, Annapolis, son of George and Teressa Wotton. He was married December 1916 at Nictaux Falls to Bessie Myrtle Whitman, by whom he is survived. In early life he was engaged in farming and carpentry, was for 10 years a highway foreman and served for years as a municipal tax collector for two wards. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Helen (Mrs. Russell Jodrey), Pleasantville; Ruth (Mrs. Stanford Baker), Pleasantville; Shirley (Mrs. Murray Pineo), Wilmot; one son, George, Wilmot; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Heatley, Halifax; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
