      From the Saint John Morning News, March 11, 1861 — We are pleased to notice the name of Joseph C. Skinner, a native of this Province, on the list of members of the Graduatory Class in the medical dept. of Harvard University of March 6th.

      A well known physician in Portland (St. John) received a letter from Collina Corne (Kings Co.) yesterday which states that Tuesday morn. 6th inst., Dr. Jos. SKINNER of that place, dentist, committed suicide. The deceased was a widower and had no family. His brother, Dr. John SKINNER, practiced in Saint John at one time – “Globe” (see original)
