Wanda Hilyard, Mr. Gonzalez To Wed Saturday Miss Wanda Mae Hilyard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Hilyard of 29 Osborne street, Danbury, and Gilbert Gonzalez, son of Mr. and Mrs.Francisco Gonzalez of 16 Driftway road, Danbury, will have July nuptials on Saturday at 12 o’clock noon in the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Trumbull. It will be a single-ring ceremony.
The bride-elect will be escorted by her father and will be attented by her sister, Miss Judith Hilyard, as maid of honor. Miss Linda Gonzalez, daughter of the prospective bridegroom, will serve as bridesmaid. James Kenny will be the bestman and David and Clarence Hilyard, brothers of Miss Hilyard, will usher. A reception will follow in the church social rooms.
Miss Hilyard is a clerk-typist with Remington Office Machines here. She is a graduate of Staples High School in Westport. Mr. Gonzalez, a designer with the same firm, is a graduate of Alice High School in Alice, Tex., and attended the University of Bridgeport.
