      Lorraine Doughty, Fort Fairfield, 56, died Nov. 17, 1984 at a Presque Isle hospital after a long illness.
       She was born in Fort Fairfield March 11, 1928 the daughter of Horace and Elizabeth (Sweeney) Donnelly. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Fairfield, where she graduated from FFHS in 1946. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fort Fairfield. She was married to Wendell Doughty May 25, 1948.
       She is survived by her husband of Fort Fairfield, 2 sons, Daniel of South Portland and Paul of Bangor, 3 daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Jane) Pryor of Presque Isle, Mrs. David (Kathy) Walsh of Mars Hill and Mrs. David (Peggy) Hatch of Saco, 4 sisters, Mrs. Howard (Zeta) Lello of Limestone, Mrs. John (Naomi) Downing of Presque Isle, Mrs. Jerry (Patricia) LeGare of Rockville, CT., and Mrs. Donald (Joyce Marie) Banks of South Windsor, CT., 4 grandsons, Troy Johnston, Mark and Scott Walsh and Adam Doughty, several nieces and nephews.
       Burial Riverside cemetery.
