CRESS, Marjorie “Jean” – 75, Clementsvale, Annapolis, passed away March 30, 2004, in Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Victoria Beach, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Spurr) Boudreau. Jean worked for 40 years for Dr. Slocum in Clementsvale. She taught school in Annapolis County. She was a member of Clementsvale Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, and a member of the W.M.S. She is survived by sisters, Viola (William) Todd, Nictaux; Aileen (Lloyd) Potter, Parkers Cove; Marion (Don) Smith, Cape Sable Island; Charlene Boudreau, Florida; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Boyd Llewlyn Cress; sister, Mary Thomas; brothers, Louis Boudreau. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in Robert L. Hall Funeral Chapel, Annapolis Royal, Rev. Warren Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Clementsvale Cemetery, Clementsvale. Family flowers only.
