SPURR, William Harris – 82, Centrelea, Annapolis, died March 19, 1993, in Annapolis General Hospital, Annapolis Royal. Born in Round Hill, he was a son of the late Alfred and Luella (Morse) Spurr. He was a retired well driller and an avid trapper and hunter. He was an adherent of Centrelea United Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Gladys (Mrs. Harold Weir), Centrelea; son, William, Hamilton, Ont.; sister, Mrs. Thelma Devaney, Centrelea; two brothers, Alfred, Wilmot; Vernon, Dartmouth; six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Laura Devaney; five sisters, Marie, Marion, Laura, Grace, Marjorie; four brothers, Guilford, Irvin, Lewis, Philip.
The body is in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Centrelea United Baptist Church, Rev. George Neily officiating. Burial will be in Centrelea Cemetery. Donations may be made to Centrelea United Baptist Church, Centrelea Hall or Centrelea Cemetery.
