  [S4] Obituary. DALLAS CENTER -- A funeral for William M. Hays, 91, of Perry and formerly of Dallas Center was held Dec. 4, 1987 at Brandt Funeral Home here. Mr. Hays died of a heart ailment on Nov. 30 at Perry Manor, where he had made his home for the past several years. Burial was in the Brethren Cemetery at Dallas Center.  The son of Andrew J. and Mary Alice Ferguson Hays, he was born Aug. 23, 1896 in Dallas County. He was a lifelong resident of Dallas County and a retired farmer in the Dallas Center area. He was a member of the Panther Creek Church of the Brethren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Leonard, Horton, Myron and Virgil Hays, and a sister, Margaret Greeley Leonard.  Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Florence Hays and Ethel Hays, both of Dallas Center, and Darlene Hays of Villisca, and nieces and nephews.
