      LITTLE CLARENCE WARD DEAD
      Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Ward received the silent messenger twice within the past month
       Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Ward are again afflicted. Clarence, the little three-year old son who is the first of the week was taken to Sultan to the home of his uncle, died early yesterday morning. Mr. Ward left on the early morning train of yesterday and the funeral was this morning. It was thought that the change of climate would prove beneficial, but it proved otherwise. The cause of the death was summer complaint. He was taken over to his uncle by his grand-mother, Mrs. H. J. Olive. The mother and other children followed a few days later. Mrs. Walter Olive of Goldendale went to Sultan to assist in nursing the little fellow.
       This is the second death within the month, little Isabelle having passed away about two weeks ago.
