      Death of Mrs Freeman A. Merchant – Mrs. Martha Elisabeth (Dahlrymple) widow of Freeman A. Marchant, died this morning, at the home of her son Howard B. Marchant, 21 Kane street, aged 75 years, 8 months and 6 days. She had been a resident of this city for about 10 years, comming to Fitchburg from Lowell, where she lived most of her life.
       She was a native of Nova Scotia, wher she was born Oct. 1838, the daughter of David Dahlrymple. She is survived by four sons, Howard B. and Owen R. Marchant, both of this city, Charles E. Marchant of Maynard, and Samuel C. Marchant. She was a woman who had made many friends during her residence in this city and was well known in her immediate neighborhood.
       The funeral will be from the home of Howard B. Marchant. 21 Kane street, on Thursday afternoon at 2:20 o’clock. The service will be private. Burial will be in this city in Forest Hill Cemetery.
