      A funeral service for Everett Wesley Maness of st. Charles will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Prinster-Paul Funeral Home, 240 North Kingshighway, St. Charles. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, 5200 Lucas and Hunt Road, St. Louis County. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
       Mr. Maness died Tuesday of a heart attack at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, where he had been hospitalized for pneumonia. He was 75.
       Mr. Maness was retired from Emerson Electric Co., in north St. Louis County, where he worked as a general foreman for 31 years. After his retirement from Emerson, he worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Orchard Farm and Wentzville school districts. He was a member of the St. Charles Senior Center, the Borromeo Senior Citizen Group and the First Baptist Church of St. Charles Happy Hour, all in St. Charles.
       Surviving Mr. Maness are his wife, Theresa “Terry” Skinner Maness; three daughters, Louise Newton, Lorene Dudley and Irene Henning, all of St. Charles; two brothers, Lester and Elzie Maness, both of St. Louis, 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
       Masses are preferred, or donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
